Aweber vs iContact................So which one do I choose?
Well, I've just been through the decision making process myself and it's fresh on my mind so I decided to share how I came to my decision.
First thing........these are BOTH very good companies and no matter which one you choose, you will be with a very reputable and highly regarded autoresponder company.
So, here's how I made my decision:
1. Is it reputable?
2. What do they offer?
3. Are they a single opt in or double opt in autoresponder?
4. Is it user friendly?
5. How much does it cost?
Here's what I found out:
1. Is it reputable? From all my research, Aweber, icontact and GetResponse were the three top autoresponders by far.
2. What do they offer? Well they both offer very similar things although I am told that Aweber can be more helpful for larger lists.
3. Are they single opt in or double opt in autoresponders?
OK, so here's how they differ.....Aweber is strictly double opt in where icontact is both. For example, let's say you already have a list that you want to export.
With Aweber, the people on your list would need to opt in again..........with iContact they would not.
Aweber requires a person to click a confirmation link in an email sent to them before being added to the list. iContact will add someone to your list right away unless you specify that you WANT double opt in .
4.Is it user friendly?
I have used both...............and I guess I would have to say iContact is a bit more user friendly.
5. How much does it cost?
There is a difference here..............iContact has more of a structured and economical pricing plan (especially in the beginning) dependent on how many subscribers you have. As your list grows, you pay more but they always seem to be a little cheaper than AWEBER especially in the beginning.
You can get started with iContact for $9.95. Aweber starts at $19.00 and goes up from there.
So who did I go with? Well for me I chose iContact. I liked the user friendliness of it, the flexibility of opt in choices and probably the biggest selling feature was the price. Customer service is great too.

I noticed that there were a lot of searches for Wealthy Affiliate Opinion so I thought I would give mine:-)
First off, I am a Wealthy Affiliate member and have been for over two years. I ran into it while searching the internet...........you know how you're searching the internet for one thing and you find something else you weren't really looking for:-)
Anyway, it was a testimonial from a stay at home mom saying how Wealthy Affiliate had made such a big difference in her life financially. So I decided to check it out as I had been doing affiliate marketing for several months with not much success. I just couldn't figure it all out.
I decided to join and give it a try..............and my opinion? Looking back, I don't know what I would have done without it. The forum alone is worth the monthly membership. It gives you a good, solid, education in affiliate marketing. But more importantly you are not going it alone..................you have support through the forum and the tips and advice you receive are priceless.

Can I Really Generate Income From Home?
Is it really possible to generate income from home? Well the short answer is yes, it is, but the longer answer is yes, it is, but how badly do you want it?
You can literally generate income from home with just an internet connection and a computer BUT you have to know how to do it and you have to want it badly enough to obtain it.
There is a story about a young man who wanted to gain insight and wisdom. He went to Socrates, who was considered one of the wisest men of his time. After asking Socrates how he could receive more wisdom, Socrates took the young man down to the water and walked in with him.
Without saying a word, Socrates pushed the young mans head under the water with all his might. After holding him there for what felt like eternity, Socrates let the young man up out of the water.
He asked the young man," What did you want more than anything else while you were under the water? The young man said, "Why I wanted air to breath"!
Socrates said, "When you want wisdom as much as you wanted air to breath, then you will receive it".

How Do I Choose Good Keywords For My Website?
How do I choose good keywords for my website? Many people are looking for help choosing keywords for their website. They want to find the best keywords for online advertising . Well, here are a couple of tips that might help you out!
There are ALOT of strategies about this but I think there are a few basics that will work very well.
First, you need a good keyword research tool (besides your brain which is excellent)And you might be surprised, but I think the best ones are free! So don't think you'll need to buy one to get started. I would suggest the Google research tool and also the SEO Book Keyword suggestion tool. Either one of these tools will help you find the best keywords for online advertising.
So, how do I choose good keywords for my website ? Here's a good rule of thumb for help choosing keywords. If you're new to internet marketing and just getting started, then you'll want to stay in the kiddie pool, as my friend PotPieGirl suggests. Look for keywords that when typed in Google will return less than 1000 results. Now you'll want to put quotes on either side of the word or phrase to check this out. I'll talk more about this in another post.
So for example if your site is about baking cakes and you want to use the keyword phrase " how to bake a cake" then you would enter it in google just like that. Then look and see how many results come back. Anything under 1000 will work great. As far as the number of searches per month, it really depends on what kind of campaign you are setting up.
If you found out that say "how to bake a cake" only had 7 results (competing pages) come back and there were 6 searches a day, that might be a great little keyword phrase. But if it had 15,000 results and only 2 searches a day, then that would not be a good keyword phrase to use.

So many marketers make the fatal mistake of using hard core, in your face advertising and all that really does is scare your prospective customer away. That being said, if you do it the right way it can be very lucrative. Say, for example, you want to advertise apparel or accessories for a certain football team. Make sure the Squidoo lens that you make has good quality content on it. Maybe some info about the school mascot or a video clip of one of the games. Make it interesting, offer GOOD, INFORMATIVE content and THEN add your affiliate links throughout the page.

Can I be successful at affiliate marketing? The answer is, yes you can..............BUT only if you have a plan ! Affiliate marketing is an incredible way to earn income on the internet but without the right plan, or for that matter, any kind of plan, it can be very difficult, if not impossible.

I had never heard of him before but what he was talking about really caught my attention. I bought a few ebooks, dabbled in pay per click advertising (had some tiny success)but eventually just got frustrated.
I wanted to learn this so badly. It's funny how one thing leads to another though when you just don't quit...........

Wealthy Affiliate is a great community, lots of good info and that's where I learned all the basics. Our story starts about a year and a half ago. We were surfing on the internet and found a blog by a stay at home mom who said she was having some success with affiliate marketing and she attributed it to a site she found called Wealthy Affiliate University.
Well, we needed any and all of the help we could get and we were not having much success out there on our own. So we decided to check it out for a month and see what we thought.
It's now been over a year and a half and we are happy to say we are still part of this really cool community of like minded people who have a world of wealth to share about this whole affiliate marketing thing.
Along with some great people, there is also so much in depth training on the site that it really should be called an Internet Marketing University! And they have a great forum that you can be a part of and learn some great marketing secrets from the pro's.
It really is the best way to get past the learning curve quickly and get into profit! Just a word of advice though....don't try going it on your own! You will quickly burn out and get frustrated and probably quit. And that's the worst possible thing you could do.
